— WHO WE ARE
We started in a closet. Today we move millions.
In 2016, Storehouse of Community Resources started with one small problem and a belief it could be solved. Nobody anticipated what pulling that thread would reveal — that the goods nonprofits and schools desperately needed already existed, in abundance, in the hands of businesses that didn't know what to do with them. What began as a closet sized hygiene pantry is now Michigan's leading redistribution warehouse. $29.9 million in brand new goods moved last year. Nearly double the year before. 675+ organizations served — and both numbers are still climbing.
Nonprofits were doing the work. Funders were backing the cause. Businesses were quietly managing surplus that felt like a liability, not an asset. Everyone had a piece. Nobody had the whole picture. Storehouse brought it together.

— WHAT WE BELIEVE
The mission is clear.
The values are non negotiable.
Our Mission
To decrease poverty and increase prosperity in communities across Michigan.
Our Vision
To be the partner in connecting available resources to identified needs.
Storehouse sits at the center of three partnerships — organizations that supply products, community organizations that deliver impact, and the funders and volunteers who make the whole system possible. We don't educate children, build affordable homes, or employ workers. We resource the organizations that do. The vision is simple: as more suppliers bring goods, more organizations can be served, and as funders and volunteers join the work, the entire system grows — benefiting everyone connected to it, not just Storehouse. We're not the end of that story. We're the infrastructure that makes it possible to write it.
— OUR TEAM
The people behind the work.
Storehouse is built on a team that shows up every day to move goods, build relationships, and make the model work.
