Teacher Resource Store (TRS)
FULLY OPERATIONAL
The Teacher Resource Store is a dedicated retail style space at our Grand Rapids warehouse, stocked with classroom essentials — completely free to teachers at qualifying schools.
Teachers at member schools shop twice per school year, selecting supplies for their classrooms at no cost. The average teacher leaves with $400 in goods per visit.
To qualify: Your school must be non tuition based and serve at least 70% of students from economically disadvantaged households, verified through GreatSchools.org. Storehouse handles the verification — you just apply.

All Teacher Access
Browse and claim available goods through WhatsApp — no membership required
Storehouse prioritizes getting supplies into the highest need classrooms first — but our mission doesn't stop there. We regularly have the opportunity to extend our reach and support even more teachers across Michigan, and that's exactly what All Teacher Access is for.
Any Michigan teacher can join our dedicated WhatsApp channel to browse available goods, claim what they need, and arrange a scheduled pickup. It's free, it's first come, first served, and it's active year round.

Storehouse on the Go
Free classroom supplies — coming to your community
Can't make it to Grand Rapids? Storehouse brings the store to you.
Our mobile pop up — a transit van and 24 foot trailer stocked with classroom and school supplies — travels to communities across Michigan. Visits are held at trusted community locations such as local banks, credit unions, chambers of commerce, or partner organizations already serving your area. If you have a location in mind or a community partner willing to host, include that in your request — those connections help us move faster. The visit is fully funded by community sponsors. There is no cost to your school.
Who qualifies: Non tuition based schools (public, charter, or publicly funded) with at least 70% of students identified as low income.
How it works: It starts with you. Submit a request and Storehouse does the rest — approaching local funders, scheduling the visit, and coordinating with your community to maximize reach.

PATHWAY 04 • ANNUAL AUGUST EVENT • KENT COUNTY
Big Backpack Build
15,000 brand new backpacks — every qualifying student receives one
Every August, Storehouse hosts the Big Backpack Build — a large scale community event that puts fully stocked, brand new backpacks into the hands of Kent County children who need them most. Equal and equitable: every qualifying child receives exactly one backpack, prioritized by need.
The event is made possible through community sponsors and brings together volunteers, organizations, and partner schools across Kent County. Sponsorship opportunities are available ranging from $2,500 to $50,000, with each level directly tied to the number of students impacted.
