—Corporate Partners

Most partnerships start with a volunteer day. They rarely end there.

Teams see the goods. Meet the staff. Understand the mission firsthand.

And what started as a team building day becomes something more.

Our best partners showed up to volunteer and felt compelled to do more.

Amway — A Michigan-to-Michigan Partnership

Amway's partnership with Storehouse spans multiple engagement pathways — surplus goods donation, corporate volunteer days, and designated community funding. It's the model of what a full Storehouse corporate partnership looks like in practice.

Will Templeton quote and full case study to be added once written approval is received from Will Templeton and Amway corporate communications. Both the quote and the named case study require written sign-off before this page is published.

—SIX WAYS TO PARTNER

One relationship.
Six ways to show up.

Most corporate partners start with one pathway and add more over time. Some combine several from the start. Every option stands alone — and works better alongside the others.

Volunteer 2 PATHWAY 01

Volunteer Days

Team building with real impact — for groups of any size

Bring your team to the Storehouse warehouse for a hands on volunteer experience unlike anything in a conference room. Your team sorts inventory, stocks shelves, builds furniture, moves product — real work that directly powers the organizations we serve.

An ideal group is 5–15 people, but we can accommodate larger teams with advance notice. All group sizes welcome. We work with your schedule to find a shift that fits.

What your team will experience: A working warehouse, the variety of goods Storehouse handles, the organizations behind the mission — and a shared day that people actually talk about afterward.

Storehouse on the Go — Sponsorship

Bring free classroom supplies to teachers in your community

Sponsor a Storehouse on the Go visit — a mobile pop-up stocked with classroom supplies that travels to high-need schools outside Kent County. Your sponsorship funds the entire visit: supplies, logistics, and coordination. There is no cost to the school.

Visits can be hosted at a community location near you — a corporate parking lot, a district office, or a central site serving multiple schools in the same region. Sponsorship options are flexible and à la carte.

Sponsorship options include: Funding a single school or multiple schools in a district, adding your company logo and branding to the event, including a branded item or flyer in teacher supply bags, and volunteering your team at the event itself.

Sponsorships typically range from $2,000 – $5,000 depending on the number of schools served and sponsorship options selected. Contact us to discuss what's right for your community.

Surplus Goods Donation

Turn overstock into community impact — with zero resale risk

Brand-new surplus goods sitting in your warehouse can go directly to Michigan nonprofits and schools through Storehouse. We take the full load — pallets, partial truckloads, full truckloads — and redistribute everything through our network of 675+ vetted organizations.

We do not resell. Ever. Your brand is protected, your goods go where they're needed, and you receive full documentation for ESG and tax reporting.

We handle logistics: Local pickup within two hours of Grand Rapids, or third-party freight coordination for larger quantities or longer distances.

Have surplus goods to move?

Kit Building Experience

A hands on giving event your team builds from scratch

Sponsor a Kit Building Experience — a structured, hands-on event where your team packages hygiene kits, holiday bags, and more for families across Michigan. You select the kit type, the number of kits, the recipient organization, and the branding options.

This program is brand new! Be among the first companies to offer it to your team.

Shop to Give

Bring your team to the warehouse — and shop on behalf of families

Shop to Give is a hands on corporate giving experience unlike anything else. Your team comes to the Storehouse warehouse, browses inventory stocked with everything from hygiene supplies and clothing to toys, furniture, and housewares — and shops on behalf of a nonprofit or family your company wants to support.

You select the items. You designate the recipient. Storehouse confirms eligibility and handles distribution. Your team leaves having seen exactly what their giving accomplished — in their hands, in real time.

The goods at Storehouse are priced at a fraction of retail. A $2,000 budget goes an extraordinary distance.

Donor-Designated Funds

Support the nonprofits and schools you already fund - through us

Through Designated Giving, your company can create a designated fund that directs Storehouse resources to exactly the organizations and communities that matter to your team. Support schools near your headquarters. Fund workforce stability programs in your employees' neighborhoods. Designate goods for housing nonprofits in your region.

Every designated fund comes with documented impact reporting — dollars tracked, goods distributed, organizations served. Your leadership team gets the numbers. Your communications team gets the story.

Funders who want their employees involved can combine this pathway with volunteer days or Shop to Give — so your team funds the impact and experiences it firsthand.

—Schedule A Tour

The best way to
understand Storehouse
is to
see it for yourself.

Every corporate partnership we have started with a conversation — and most of those conversations started with a warehouse tour. An hour with Michaela and you'll understand exactly what Storehouse does, what your team could experience, and where your company fits in the model.

No pitch. No pressure. Just a real look at what's happening inside — and an honest conversation about what a partnership could look like.

MLive Article

One Hour. Full Access. No Pressure.

Led by Michaela, our Member & Community Engagement Director (she knows every corner of the warehouse and every organization it serves), you'll receive a one hour tour (long enough to see everything, short enough to fit in a busy calendar), and we'll answer your questions honestly. If there's a fit, we'll talk about what it looks like. If there isn't, we'll tell you that too.
